The Role & Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant for this position will be responsible to manage the performance and development of the Shareholder Services team, as well as achieve overall client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service whilst ensuring full compliance with regulatory and fund requirements.
Role Responsibilities:
Review controls and procedures on a periodic basis;
Identify and Implement process improvements/system enhancements across the Transfer Agency team;
Monitor operational risk across the Business and assist with the enhancement of the existing operational risk framework;
Assist in building out and training the current teams;
Keep up to date on all Regulatory and internal risk updates that impact the business ensuring the operations teams have the necessary knowledge and systems in place to deal with the updates;
Managing the oversight for any internally outsourced functions;
Ensure all client and investors queries are resolved within minimum timeframe;
Review, understand and have the ability to discuss fund governing documents with team and clients;
Responsible for all aspects of operations and controls functions: processing subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and switches;
Ensure control framework and documented Transfer Agency procedures and policies in line with regulations both locally and globally;
Ensure all regulatory reporting (onshore and offshore) is delivered within the required timeframes, e.g Fatca/CRS;
Providing periodic reports and feedback to senior management.
Skills Required:
Minimum of 4 years work experience in a Transfer Agency environment with exposure to multiple fund structures and at least 2 years in a supervisory/management role;
Have a smart and outgoing personality with excellent Customer Service skills;
Experience managing a team with the ability to delegate and to gain the commitment amongst team members;
Be capable of planning, working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines;
Have an eye for detail and the ability to handle complex matters;
Excellent command of spoken and written communication skills; and
Proficiency in MS Office applications particularly Word, Excel and Access. (Experience on PFS - Paxus will be considered as an advantage)
