Apex is looking for a Senior Vice President – Central Payments to support our growing operations in corporate services delivery. This full-time Senior Vice President role is based in Luxembourg and comes with a generous salary and benefits package.
As a Senior Vice President (Central Payments), Candidates with exposure on Accounting, Transfer Agency or CoSec will have a definitive advantage.
In your first few weeks in this Senior Vice President role, you can expect to:
- You will act as a central point of contact for your clients, identifying and anticipating potential areas of concern and providing appropriate solutions to their problems.
- You will utilize your excellent organizational skills and sound judgment to meet and exceed client expectations, address their service needs and meet their deadlines.
- You will be accountable to all operational areas of your accounts, both accounting and administration. You will manage a team that deals with the general accountancy of legal entities/funds, processing and booking invoices, execution of payments, management of accounts receivables and accounts payables, reconciliation balances, fixed assets, and miscellaneous bookings.
- You will be responsible for timely execution of all kinds of payments, perform quality reviews of client reports and KPIs, and serve as a high authority contact in addressing day-to-day queries of your team.
- You will also be involved in various projects, such as the implementation of standard procedures and the role-out of a new payment system
- You will take ownership of the performance of your team and ensure that the team delivers, while effectively managing the team’s resources. You can deal with teams that are outside your jurisdiction, supporting operating teams in offshore locations all over the world.
- You will actively participate in the implementation of business plans, identifying business opportunities and developments and promoting business growth.
- You will be involved in client proposals and pitches, fee quotes and negotiations and reviews of client satisfactory ratings.
- You will lead and proactively participate in the development and implementation of systems and procedures, new IT processes ensuring that they meet business, client and team needs.

- An accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in the field of Finance/Accounting, including administration in the finance sector
- Meaningful years of experience in servicing Asset Managers
- Experience in accounting, Transfer Agency or Corporate Secretary
