About the Role
We are looking for a Client Solutioning Manager with proven funds and fund administration experience to lead and oversee client solutioning and Transfer Agency (TA) implementation of the Tocan SaaS platform. This role is responsible for managing a team of Client Solution Leads and a TA Implementation Execution Lead, ensuring seamless functional, technical, and operational solution identification and implementation for our customers. The candidate is required to ensure that best practices are adopted at all times.
As a strategic, hands-on leader, you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Client Success Services teams to deliver high quality client solutions and timely implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and mentor a team of Client Solution Leads and the TA Implementation Execution Lead, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
- Develop strategies and repeatable best practices for delivering tailored client functional, technical and operational solutions and efficient and timely implementations.
- Foster a collaborative and customer-centric culture within the team.
Client Solutioning & Execution
- Oversee the Client Solutioning team whose tasks include:
- Product demonstrations and presentations
- Pre-Sales support including environment support
- Solution design, run book mapping and troubleshooting
- GAP analysis, capturing customer requirements and preparing business cases including the collation of estimates
- Drive continuous improvement in client solutioning and business analysis methodologies.
Implementation & Delivery
- Manage the TA Implementation Execution Lead whose tasks include:
- Leading the full lifecycle implementation of Tocan investor onboarding software including data migrations
- Acting as the primary implementation project lead.
- In conjunction with Client Solutions, Product, Client Success Services and the clients ensure optimal software configuration.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing Transfer Agency platforms, third-party data providers, and any inhouse or third-party compliance systems
- Identify and resolve operational and delivery challenges during the implementation phase.
- Collaborate with the Product team to ensure a smooth technical deployment and promptly address any technical challenges.
- Monitor project timelines, project deliverables, and client expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement in implementation TA execution methodologies
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Facilitate regular status updates, governance meetings, and issue resolution discussions with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Act as the primary escalation point for key client solutioning and implementation challenges.
- Work closely with your Client Solutioning, Product and Client Success teams to enhance platform capabilities based on client feedback.
Process Optimization & Reporting
• Develop and implement KPIs to measure solutioning effectiveness, client satisfaction, and team performance.
• Identify process gaps and recommend automation or efficiency improvements in the solutioning and implementation lifecycle.
• Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on project status, team performance, and client success metrics.
Qualifications & Skills
- 7+ years of experience client solutioning, SaaS implementation, in funds and funds administration.
- Proven experience in fund service provider transitions, large scale data migrations and fund implementations.
- Ideally specific experience with investor onboarding and order management
- Proven team leadership experience, managing solutioning and implementation teams.
- Ability to bridge technical and business needs, translating client challenges into actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project management tools, and SaaS reporting/analytics.
