Senior Compliance Manager
Brisbane / Sydney / Melbourne
Description
This is an exciting role for the successful candidate to take the next step in their career and help shape a growing superannuation business.
Job specification
Ensure compliance with superannuation laws, regulations, and industry codes
Design, implement, and continuously improve compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to support regulatory adherence.
Investigate compliance breaches, develop remediation plans, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Undertake regulatory industry & legislative sweeps keep abreast of changes to superannuation and related matters on behalf of clients.
Conduct necessary compliance activities for clients to assess legislative, regulatory, procedural and compliance plan adherence
Provide advice and assist clients at all levels in the execution of their risk management and compliance responsibilities
Skills Required:
Formal qualifications in a relevant field such as Business or Finance preferred
RG146 General Advice in Superannuation
Previous experience working in the Superannuation Industry in compliance for 5+ years
Strong understanding of Financial Services Industry, with knowledge of key legislation and regulatory environment
Ability to analytically interpret legislative and regulatory requirements and develop practical and commercial solutions for clients
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at all organisational levels
