Senior Compliance Manager

Description

This is an exciting role for the successful candidate to take the next step in their career and help shape a growing superannuation business.

Job specification

• Ensure compliance with superannuation laws, regulations, and industry codes

• Design, implement, and continuously improve compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to support regulatory adherence.

• Investigate compliance breaches, develop remediation plans, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence

• Undertake regulatory industry & legislative sweeps keep abreast of changes to superannuation and related matters on behalf of clients.

• Conduct necessary compliance activities for clients to assess legislative, regulatory, procedural and compliance plan adherence

• Provide advice and assist clients at all levels in the execution of their risk management and compliance responsibilities

Skills Required:

• Formal qualifications in a relevant field such as Business or Finance preferred

• RG146 General Advice in Superannuation

• Previous experience working in the Superannuation Industry in compliance for 5+ years

• Strong understanding of Financial Services Industry, with knowledge of key legislation and regulatory environment

• Ability to analytically interpret legislative and regulatory requirements and develop practical and commercial solutions for clients

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at all organisational levels
