Department: Depositary – European Depositary Bank Dublin Branch

Job Title: Technical Services Associate

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria

Tasks

You will be responsible for the delivery of AIFMD and UCITS custody and technical depositary services for the company, and take full ownership of the successful completion of specific tasks in accordance with depositary and custody procedures.

This will include the delivery of custody operations, billing and technical depositary tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of administrative and technical services to a growing portfolio of Mutual, Hedge, Real Estate and Private Equity fund clients.

  • Ensure the daily Cash flow monitoring and reconciliation process is initiated on a daily basis to include:

  • Download broker counterparty statements and ingest into cash flow monitoring tool.

  • Identifying and recording new cash accounts and mapping to system.

  • Reconciling all cash flow movements

  • Highlighting any significant or inconsistent cash flows to the Dublin team.

  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly billing process for all clients, ensuring invoices are calculated and delivered.

  • Ensure that all NAV Packs are updated and saved in appropriate locations.

  • Assist in gathering vendor support.

  • Maintenance of ongoing AUD reporting.

  • Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures and local laws and regulations.

  • Responsible for the preparation of Depositary reporting to the senior management team on a quarterly basis for trustee/depositary clients.

Position Requirements

  • Preferably 2+ years work experience in a depositary, custody, fund accounting, Investment Manager or similar role. Exposure to Depositary/Custody operations and cash flow monitoring would be a big advantage.

  • Good industry knowledge and financial services experience, with an understanding of the depositary’s role and responsibilities.

  • Good interpersonal skills in order to develop strong working relationships with colleagues.

  • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.

  • A strong attention to detail.

  • Educated to degree level (or overseas equivalent).

  • Fluent English essential.
