Job Summary

The candidate should be well versed with Pricing, Reference Data, Corporate action, Portfolio accounting.

He/She must be a dynamic personality with ability to work tactically wherever needed with quality results. The candidate must be having very good communication and should be competitive to connect with stakeholders across the globe. The candidate should be capable of running the Projects independently.

He/she should possess a minimum experience of 5 years in managing and handling a team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Team management and supervision
  • Processing and verification of daily and monthly pricing across multiple asset classes.
  • Ensuring accurate valuations and performing validation process across all capital market products including but not limited to derivatives and OTC securities.
  • Setup of OTC securities, including unlisted derivatives, illiquid stocks and private equity, bank debt and swaps, and their processing into the fund accounting platform will be an added advantage.
  • Processing and verification of daily market prices on listed securities from multiple vendors, including market research on large variances and stale/missing prices.
  • Strong knowledge about Bloomberg, ICE, Markit, Refinitiv, SIX, etc
  • Strong knowledge on overall pricing concepts like price types, vendor hierarchy, price methodology, market value concept, etc.
  • Processing and verification of valuations on OTC securities from data vendors and counterparty statements.
  • Review of corporate actions on portfolio holdings and necessary correction and posting of exceptions.
  • Documentation of trade file mapping requirements for existing and new clients, and working with various internal groups (Analytics, Client Services) and external client if needed, to automate pricing workflows.
  • Working closely with multiple vendors to identify issues, track them and drive their resolution. Knowledge on API for BBG and Reuters is preferred.
  • Maintenance and creation of standard Operating Procedures
  • Providing assistance to supervisors, auditors and fund accountants as and when required.

Qualification & Experience required

  • 9 – 11 years of experience in investment banking
  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in a financial domain
  • Operational experience in a financial institution will be a strong advantage
  • Good knowledge of OTC products such as foreign exchange options, swaps, swaptions, Spots, forwards, credit default swaps
  • Should possess Decision making, problem solving and tactical skills. Multitasking is a must.
  • Strong organizational skills and structured management approach, supporting timely delivery of complex meeting material that includes input from across the global valuations team
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to distil complex issues into an easy digest summary for senior management
  • Confident and assertive with the ability to negotiate and influence constructively across teams and geographies
  • Knowledge of the hedge fund administration business and/or industry will be a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of either Paxus, Advent Geneva ®, or Broadridge suite of applications related to the Fund Administration business, or both, will be a strong advantage.

  • Good understanding of programming in VBA would be good plus.
  • Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail.
