Client Relationship Manager

Description
This role is responsible for the development and maintenance of client relationships. This role will carry out the responsibilities in demonstrating a culture of success, accountability and delivery in line with Apex value.
Job specification
Assisting with any business development activity and achieving accompanying revenue expectations with existing clients.
Assisting with client contractual and commercial arrangements, and identifying and driving any required updates or variations to the Service Level Agreements.
Building and maintaining relationships with clients to be their trusted advocate.
Preparing agendas for client meetings, leading client meetings and preparing follow up notes to the client meetings and ensuring outstanding items are actioned.
Liaising with clients on all operational issues and escalations.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with operational and other team members across the New Zealand business.
Liaising with other teams to answer client queries and address any client issues.
Maintaining Salesforce with accurate account and contact data, including the use of task management on a daily basis.
Assisting the Client Development team to complete any reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
Assisting the Client Transition team with any client, fund or service onboarding and change requests or projects.
Assisting other Client Relationship Managers or the Sales team with any growth opportunities or relationship matters.
Undertaking other duties, and participating in other projects and initiatives as required by the business, from time to time.
Skills Required:
3+ years’ experience in a client relationship management or business development related role.
Experience within the financial services or similar industry.
Advanced knowledge of Word and Excel.
Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM system.
Strong verbal and written English skills.
