Tasks:

The Team Leader of Account Opening in Sofia is responsible for overseeing and managing the account opening process, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and an excellent customer experience.

Team leadership and management
Ø Lead, mentor and manage the account opening team in Sofia to ensure high performance and accountability;
Process oversight and optimization
Ø Oversee the end-to-end account opening process to ensure efficiency and accuracy;
Ø Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to streamline workflow.;
Ø Ensure timely resolution of account opening issues in Sofia team.
Customer experience
Ø Enhance the account opening process to provide a positive customer experience;
Ø Address customer inquiries or concerns related to account opening promptly and professionally.
Collaboration and stakeholder management
Ø Work closely with AOT Luxembourg, RM, Compliance, IT, COT and other departments to ensure alignment on account opening requirements and
Reporting and analysis
Ø Monitor key performance metrics for the account opening process and prepare regular reports for Head of Account Opening
Day-to-day management
Ø Monitor and improve the accuracy of client master data from the account opening perspective.
Ø Act as approver/reviewer for Sofia team members' day-to-day work.
Further tasks might be assigned according to the business requirements.

Position Requirements:

Educational Level / Working Experience:

  • University Degree - Bachelor (or above) in Economics, Finance or Law.

  • Working experience: min. 5 years of experience in the relevant sector

Technical Capabilities:

  • Analytical skills & interpretation of data

  • Plan and lead projects to completion

  • Communicating skills

  • Problem solving attitude

  • Customer-centric approach

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Collaboration and stakeholder management

Language skills incl. level (fluent, intermediate, basic, advantageous)

  • English: fluent

  • German: advantageous

  • French: advantageous
