As APEX FUND SERVICES (BULGARIA) is expanding, we are opening an exciting new opportunity.

We are currently looking for suitable, motivated and team-oriented professional for the position of Process and Governance Manager.

The Role:

The role of the Process and Governance Manager is to manage and lead the definition and transformation of the Project Management Process, Resource Management Process, and Project Financials Management Process. The person must actively support the development of these processes in close collaboration with the Change, Technology and Finance teams and ensure that they are properly monitored and managed. The Process and Governance Manager must define the processes in a simple and clear way and ensure they can be tailored to suit different size projects enabling them to be fit for purpose. The position reports into the Head of PMO.

Resource Management

  • Day to day management of the team – recruitment, line management, team morale, career progression & training;

  • Accountable for teams ongoing deliverables – providing technical expertise - ensuring Project Management Process has been up-to date, ensuring Project Portfolio financials are properly monitored and managed on a regular basis, ensuring Capacity plan and Resource Utilisation Analysis are being developed;

  • Provide metrics on the teams delivery performance across the Project Management Process, Project Financials Management and Resource Management;

  • Work closely with Apex’s Change and Technology Team to ensure process it is adhered to;

Controls and reporting

  • Provide training and support to project teams and stakeholders on project management policies and procedures;

  • Dashboard/Reporting – support and develop Resource Management and Project Financial Management dashboards that drive decisions. Produce the dashboard/reports for the Executive Committee, IT management and Portfolio Leads;

  • Ensure project templates are maintained and of adequate quality;

  • Define KPIs with targets for each area ad tracked them on regular basis;

  • Monitor and support project standards, approaches, plans, policies, and procedures by performing regular audits of the ongoing projects;

Ensure efficient communication with all senior level stakeholders

  • Work with IT teams – IT Ops, Dev, BA, QA, etc. to understand current issues around project process and put plan in place to address the same;

  • Assist the team in the day to day activities to ensure quality service;

  • Setup and lead management review/ status meetings with internal and external teams

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Advance degree in IT related field or MBA preferred.

  • 8+ Years Project Management experience in a large multi-unit global organization required.

  • 3+ years supervisory experience overseeing projects and global teams.

  • Project Management Accreditation (APMP, PMI, Prince 2 or equivalent) -preferred.

  • Project management skills in complex IS and business environments, including ability to coordinate multiple teams in various locations and time zones.

  • Deep project management experience managing large-scale, global implementations.

  • Experience working on projects in the financial services industry would be an advantage;

  • Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools.

  • Passion for leading teams and implementing change.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong negotiation and team-building skills with the ability to create consensus around decisions and mitigate conflicts among different teams.

  • High communication skills required at all levels. Must be able to interact with senior leadership. Excellent command of verbal and written communication (English). Effective presentation style for all levels of stakeholders.

  • Strong problem solving, decision making, issue analysis and resolution skills.

  • Highly organized.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with internal clients.

  • Ability to work well in a fast paced multicultural global work environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities with internal clients.

  • Ability to gather and address both business and technical requirements. Must be highly motivated.

  • Proficient in MS Office products including MS Project
