Lead – Fund Reconciliation Automation

Location: Bangalore/Pune
Experience: 8–12 years
Industry/Domain: Fund Services, Advent Geneva, Financial Services, Fund Administration

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Team Lead to drive the automation of fund reconciliation processes, with a strong focus on leveraging advanced tools such as VBA and the Fund Recs platform. This role will be critical in accelerating delivery of reconciliations and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Automation Initiatives: Oversee and manage the automation of fund reconciliation workflows within the Geneva system environment.
  • VBA Development: Design, develop, and maintain efficient VBA scripts and tools to automate data processing, reporting, and reconciliation tasks.
  • Fund Recs Integration: Implement and optimize reconciliation solutions using the Fund Recs platform, ensuring seamless data import, automated matching, and enhanced oversight capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust automated processes.
  • Data Oversight: Ensure rigorous data validation and quality control using customizable dashboards and reporting tools in Fund Recs.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the automation team, managing priorities for timely project delivery.

Automation Tools

- Advanced VBA proficiency for custom automation.
- Practical experience with Fund Recs (no code reconciliation automation) or similar platforms.

Fund Reconciliation

- Strong understanding of reconciliation processes, complex investment structures, NAV/GAV, fee calculations, and PnL allocations.

Data Management

- Experience with data validation, automated matching, exception handling, and break resolution.

Integration Experience

- Familiarity with data vendors (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Markit), and integrating external/legacy systems.

Leadership & Communication

- Proven ability to lead diverse teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills.

Additional Technical Skills (Good to have)

- SQL, ETL/mapping tools.
