Senior IMA Analyst - 12 months cover
Location : Sydney
Description
This is a 12 months maternity cover role where to provide investment administration functions to clients in a timely and efficient manner.
Job Specification:
Perform daily cash and asset reconciliations to various custodians
Processing & instructing of various client transactions
Liaising with Fund Managers, Brokers and Custodians to ensure settlement of all transactions
Effective client communication, including responding to all client queries and requests in a timely manner
Completion of client specific reporting requirements
Calculation of client monthly fees and interest
Ensure tax reporting is properly delegated and outputs reviewed and are sent to clients in line with regulatory SLA
As Senior Investment Analyst you will both perform and monitor the core functions within the team
Provide leadership and guidance to team members
Be instrumental in the allocation of changing workloads amongst the team
Take the lead with new client onboardings
Responsible for the allocation of functional tasks to the custody team
Act as an escalation point for client issues
Participation in client service meetings
Active participation in team/resource planning
Provide oversight and manage the performance of offshore teams
Other ad hoc responsibilities as required
Skills Required:
Minimum 2 years operational experience
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business or Mathematics preferred
Knowledge of IRESS (IPS) will be an advantage
