Functional Title: Operations Specialist - HR Shared Services

Corporate title: Associate

Employment: Full Time Permanent

Reporting to: Senior Operations Supervisor - HR Shared Services

Location: Hyderabad

Apex Group is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Human Resources Team in India. The successful candidate will play an important role in the HR Operations function, which focuses on the delivery of core transactional HR processes. The candidate has to demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with the ability to showcase a continuous improvement mind-set in regard to HR processes, whilst thriving in a dynamic environment with excellent collaboration skills.

Job Specification:

  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Maintain and update employee records in Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Oversee life-cycle changes such as promotions, transfers, and other employee status changes.
  • Oversee the offboarding process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless onboarding, life-cycle change, and offboarding experience.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Manage accurate reporting on HR activities and generate ad-hoc reports as needed to support strategic decision-making and organizational effectiveness.

Skills Required:

  • 2 – 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Workday or similar HRIS Tool experience
  • University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other relevant.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Attention to detail to ensure tasks are conducted at the highest standards.
  • Highly organised with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to prioritise workload in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
