Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join the HR Advisory team at Apex.
The role holder will be a key member of the HR function, providing advice and guidance to Line Managers and supporting the HR Business Partnering team with key processes with a focus on supporting managers to undertake Performance Improvement Plans.
The role will be covering HR activities and supporting with performance improvement plans globally; however, we are ideally looking for a candidate with previous experience supporting APAC or Americas.
Job specification
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and act in an advisory capacity and assist Line Managers in undertaking performance improvement plans ensuring compliance with local legislation.
- Proactively provide guidance to Line Managers following HR trigger events such as the performance management process to drive the implementation of performance improvement plans where required.
- Create and develop standard operating procedures for key HR processes such as performance improvement plans, working with HRBP’s to ensure compliance with local legislation
- Develop training materials and templates to support Line Managers with the execution of performance improvement plans.
- Manage and act in an advisory capacity for other HR processes such as flexible working, background screening escalations and absence ensuring a consistent approach and compliance with local legislation.
- Act as the point of escalation for any individual issues arising from background screening and coordinate outcomes with the necessary stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the global HR team to develop and build Line Manager support materials which will be based on business need and incoming queries.
- Support the wider HR team with projects as required.
Skills Required:
- Worked in an HR advisory capacity and confident providing advice and guidance to Line Managers, especially regarding performance improvement
- Experience dealing with and supporting managers with Performance Improvement Plans across multiple countries
- Working knowledge of HR policies and processes
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise workloads
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ideally experience in supporting APAC or Americas.
