Job Specification
As a Payments Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining all level checks, reviews and processing of payments workflow as follows.

Responsibilities
Validation of money market transactions
Validation of foreign exchange transactions
Booking and validation of payments transactions
Processing of confirmation matching
Processing of complaints
Processing of the daily check lists
Booking/Approving of Payment related fees
Know the cut off time for each currencies utilized
Participation in simple projects in addition to day to day duties
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements
Determine priority in the daily payments business
Acting as first contact person for payment related complex questions and issues

The Specialist must ensure adherence to Apex/EDB procedures in addition to both internal and Regulatory AML requirements at all times

Skills Required
• University degree in Banking/ Finance /Accounting or similar.
• Excellent English spoken and written communication skills.
• Very good computer literacy

Very good Excel knowledge.
• Understanding the banking industry.
• Good understanding of the Custody business.
• Customer Focus.
• Concern for Quality.
• Willingness and ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
• Adherence to procedures.
• Attention to detail
