About the role


The Product Manager, Product Adoption will take a foundational role in improving Aptean ERP product sales and service approach to streamline adoption. You will be working horizontally to align department leaders on the Aptean Advanced Accelerate* approach to ERP implementations, which is designed to drive high volume sales and standardized implementations based on best practice product adoption.


Your primary responsibility will be to create a program, sales motion, and implementation methodology with the accompanying project governance that enables a scalable approach to implementing the vertical Aptean ERP products in an efficient manner, minimizing the need for service resources to enable high volume sales.


Product adoption is a top priority for Aptean, and your leadership will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.


The mission of the team is to lead the path to high volume sales and customer adoptions with a two-pronged vision:


  1. Minimize the need for service resources, enable Customer-Led Growth (CLG) by disrupting the legacy heavy ERP implementation effort. Apply a lean process that enables and coaches the users to realize the benefits of Aptean ERP solution before, during, and after the sale. Work with customers to enable them to successfully adopt the product with minimal service resources, allowing for a more streamlined and efficient process based on standardized best practices.
  2. Transition from Sales-Led Growth to Product-Led Growth (PLG). You will help transition Aptean from a sales-led growth model to a product-led growth model. You will align with our marketing department to promote Aptean ERP solutions through word-of-mouth marketing, with a vision of eliminating the need for a traditional complex ERP sale motion. You will ensure that our product, service and sales and marketing departments are aligned and positioned to take advantage of this shift.



  • Promote high volume ERP sales and customer adoptions.
  • Develop and execute a lean process for ERP implementation that enables Customer-Led Growth (CLG).
  • Transition Aptean from Sales-Led Growth to Product-Led Growth (PLG).
  • Build an academy, a learning management system (LMS), to onboard new product. implementation team service members, partners and customers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop product methodologies and best practice flows.
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure successful customer adoptions.
  • Develop and continuously monitor KPIs that measure product adoption success.

  • Proven experience in promoting product adoption in the ERP software industry.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
