Senior PS Consultant

Remote - US

Our fast-paced environment and dynamic global Professional Services department is eager for a mover and shaker to step into this role and become an integral part of our team. 

 

About the role

Provide functional and business consulting and support to Aptean customers through the Aptean Process Manufacturing OEE solution. Participate as a member of the implementation team to deploy new projects, and/or provide on-going support to their existing installation through additional consulting and best practices. Consult with customers in the configuration and usage of application modules; research and resolve problems and issues and employ Continuous Improvement theory and practice to create ROI for customers. Manage customer expectations and foster positive business relationships. Promote best practices for software implementation and Continuous Improvement.

 

This opportunity is to work within the Aptean Process Manufacturing OEE product, implementing solutions for shop floor performance, quality adherence, and Continuous Improvement.

 

Requires interface with customers and other team members. Will involve travel to customer sites.

 

You will also:

  • Consulting Services
    • Provide consulting services to customers based on Aptean’s service delivery methodology and procedures; services engagements may include new implementation consulting, upgrade consulting, training, testing, and/or process improvement consulting.
    • Communicate and interact as a Subject Matter Expert for the manufacturing industry and the Aptean solution.
    • Maintain a professional appearance when interacting onsite or remotely with customers.
    • Convey expertise and best practices to ensure successful partnerships.
    • Work collaboratively with Project Manager, Customer Leader, and project team to deliver projects on time, on budget, on schedule and with attention to quality and ROI.
    • Effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Submit time and expenses punctually each week.

 

  • Knowledge Management
    • Demonstrate and expand expertise within the product and the manufacturing industry.
    • Attend training sessions offered and use self-study tools; assist with peer training as needed.
    • Contribute to a customer focused environment that encourages information sharing, team-based resolution activity, cross-training and an absolute focus on resolving customer incidents as quickly and effectively as possible.
    • Create Knowledge Base articles and documents using the Knowledge Centered Support (KCS) methodology, to be published and shared both internally and with the customer base.
    • Be curious and diligent to continuously improving.
  • Communication
    • Ensure that all internal and external customer interactions are handled professionally and with the highest level of service, follow-through and consistently keep commitments.
    • Ensure a professional communication manner when in-person or on the phone at all times.
  • Additional Duties
    • Participate in system and release testing and QA as needed.
    • Recommend improvements in Customer Solutions policies and procedures.
    • Additional duties as assigned by management.

About you

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with at least 5 years of experience. Software implementation experience in the food & beverage industry preferred. Multilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

 

You must also be

  • Possess working knowledge of the Aptean solution and demonstrate proficiency in key areas of the application.
  • Understand the manufacturing industry and business environment served by the solution.
  • Possess basic understanding of shop floor automation and connection to OEE solution.
  • Possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Convey excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess strong analytical problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Possess ability to work efficiently and independently and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Display ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact.
  • Possess a proven track record in providing outstanding customer service.
