2. GENERAL JOB SUMMARY (1 paragraph overview describing the primary function and focus of this position)

The Engineer, Development is responsible for development tasks like coding and debugging of complex scope using standard concepts and principles. Works as a fully contributing team member, under broad guidance. S/he should be able to apply own judgment and independently determine a course of action to execute it, post review.  S/he is responsible for coaching, guiding and mentoring junior members in the team to help them scale up faster.

Knowledge: Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

Complexity: Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.

Supervision: Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.



4. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List the key duties and responsibilities and essential functions of the role)

  1. Creates high level and low-level design for a given set of functional requirements as a marketable feature or a set of Use Cases.
  2. Mentor’s other junior members in the team in terms of technical skills, methodology and product knowledge. 
  3. Has good command in technology of the primary product.
  4. Follows best coding practices.
  5. Assists colleagues with design reviews, code reviews, implementation, and information about existing implementations.
  6. Expert in one or more modules of the product.
  7. Good Experience - C#Net, WCF, Rest API, SQL (mandatory).

NHibernate, Xamarin (Optional)

  1. Good to have of cloud technologies and interest in furthering understanding of designs and best practices for cloud services - Azure, SaaS, Multi-tenant applications
  2. Good knowledge – Agile development using Scrum/Kanban
  3. Good to have – Azure DevOps Pipeline
  4. Good to have – Warehousing domain knowledge

Work Experience (Indicate the approximate years of relevant work experience necessary for this position)

Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 2 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 2 years' experience; or equivalent experience. Typical range is 2-3 years


·       Knowledge in SQL and Angular. Proficient with C#, HTML, Typescript. Has good experience and knowledge of working on scalable code for .NET n-tier software desktop applications or client-side web application. Working knowledge of web server technologies and non-functional requirements like Scalability, Performance, and Security, etc. is an advantage.
