About the role

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior HR Generalist to join our growing team at a time of continued company growth through acquisition. 

We are an active team, which cover the full spectrum of HR responsibilities inclusive of strategy, organization design, employee relations, performance, talent management, wellbeing, benefits management, engagement and payroll support. 

This role will predominantly support employees within the Netherlands but will also likely incorporate employees from neighboring countries. Your primary duties will include but are not limited to:

  • First line of support to Manager and Employees on all matters, coaching through processes and escalating appropriately.
  • Management of the employee life cycle through the systems including onboarding and drafting contracts.
  • Benefits ownership.
  • Working with payroll to ensure smooth monthly processes.
  • Managing sickness absence cases and legal matters.
  • Performance review processes.
  • Merit review processes.
  • Audit processes
  • Participating in HR led employee wellbeing and engagement programs.
  • Supporting a broad range of HR projects relating to acquisition, engagement, M&A activities, performance management, compensation, on-boarding, and employment transactions.
  • Assisting the HR Manager, HR Director and HR Leadership team with administrative duties as needed to support the business.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned and required.

Work Experience  

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a HR Role.
  • Relevant HR Qualification.
  • Previous working knowledge within EMEA region.

Requirements and Skills

  • Knowledge of Oracle HR System.
  • Able to operate in a rapidly changing environment, switch quickly, keep a cool head and set priorities.
  • Result-oriented.
  • Very honest and careful about confidential matters.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
  • Full-time (36 or 40 hours a week).
  • Willing to visit the Etten Leur office at least 3 days per week.

Skills and Abilities

  • Must be customer-focused, have excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and able to work within a fast paced and changing environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Displays professional manner, ethical behavior and judgment.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Must have good Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
