The F&B vertical at Aptean is a strategic business unit- and the successful candidate will be joining a vibrant, fast-paced part of the organization.

Do you have the willingness to dive into the Food & Beverage industry and act as a trusted advisor who understands the challenges and goals of F&B manufacturers, wholesalers, growers and traders? Join our team in helping our customers and prospects step-by-step in optimizing their businesses by using our F&B platform.

Within your team, you will be responsible for adding net new customers by pursuing new greenfield opportunities in the market and helping these companies choose an Aptean platform as the best solution on the market. You will participate in a comprehensive sales process that promotes strong cross-functional collaboration.

Within your role, you will work alongside our ADR team to take responsibility for building your own pipeline. Our sales team are competitive, accountable and rewarded for their results, but they also look after each other to make sure the whole team is successful. While we work closely with Marketing, we are looking for self starter’s who will come up with great initiatives to reach your market and/or mini-verticals.

Responsibilities & Duties:

· Target Account Prospecting and Selling Aptean solutions into the UK on specific mini-verticals to achieve quota.
\n
· You succeed in reaching and overscoring your quarterly and annual targets.
\n
· Proven pipeline building skills that contribute 50% toward quota achievement.
\n
· Demonstrate a solid approach to executing the sales process with creativity and vision that drives consistent results.
\n
· Experience in collaborating with Solution Consultants and wider team members to develop the perfect answers to customers current/future challenges and coordinate winning demonstrations
\n
· You collaborate with marketing
\n
· Maintain good industry, business knowledge and product knowledge. Not because it is mandatory but because you like the industry.
\n
· Use knowledge of customer needs and industry trends to provide input into product strategy
\n

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
\n
· Thorough understanding of the customer sales cycle
\n
· Experience working with software products, services, competencies, solutions, and offerings
\n
· Knowledge or previous experience in the software industry
\n
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

· Experience of working with and understanding contracts is a plus
\n
· Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to credibly present recommendations at senior levels in the organization

· Excellent sales, negotiation skills and objection handling skills
\n
