Overview

Project Manager ERP

Lichfield, UK – with customer travel

 

About the role

As our Project Manager you will be responsible for the implementation of ERP Systems and Hardware into Food Manufacturing facilities, you will organise internal and external resources to achieve an on time in full delivery of the hardware, software, training and eventual live use of the solution by the customer.


Key responsibilities

· Determine, understand, communicate, and adhere to project scope and objectives.

· Make sure that detailed requirements are signed off by the customer and communicated to internal departments.

· Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.

· Track project time usage in order to meet target.

· Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines and training plans.

· Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.

· Predict and allocate resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.

· Manage implementation engineers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables, helping them to diarise and ensuring they have everything they need.

· Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

· Help to configure the software system.

· Load static data supplied by customer into SQL Databases where necessary.

· Carry out training along with the implementation engineers.

· Execute exit strategy so that projects can be handed over to support efficiently.

 

About you

· Communication. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written. This would include the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in a calm and composed manner, being able to present well to small or large groups. The ability to write with good English in a clear, concise and understandable manner.

· Organisation. Skilled in breaking jobs down into smaller manageable pieces and being able to prioritise them into a workflow.

· Technical. Essential skills along with using are being very familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. A knowledge of computer database systems in manufacturing. Desirable skills would include: SQL Querying to extract and manipulate and sometimes update data, reporting platforms such as SSRS.

· Personal. Essential skills would include strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail.
