About the role:
\n
As our Software Consultant you will work to deliver successful projects to our Merlin Customers. Merlin is our specialist ERP software, specifically designed for Merchants, Stockists, Distributors and Wholesalers. In this role you will work end to end throughout the implementation process, understanding our customer’s software needs and translating this into a suitable solution.
\n
Other responsibilities include;
\n
To learn and understand the Merlin Business software with the objective of being able to manage and deliver key projects to new Merlin clients. Including, co-ordination and completion of projects on time and to budget, over-seeing all aspects of a project.
\n
\n
Managing day to day aspects of projects assigned. Set deadlines and project tasks and ensure these are completed to plan.
\n
\n
Completing all aspects of project documentation and providing regular project status reports to stakeholders.
\n
\n
Presenting and delivering all of the module training courses to Merlin clients both from Chesterfield Head Office and on site at customer’s premises, and remotely. Training courses will be a mixture of classroom based courses and smaller groups, and online remote training.
\n
\n
About you:
\n
We are looking for those with a professional attitude, alongside excellent active listening and communication skills. Good decision making ability is also required and be able to work with stakeholders at different levels, both internal and external.
\n
We’re also looking for candidates with existing software experience (1-2 years), across implementation or software support. SQL / Database skills are also needed for this role. Experience with ERP systems would be beneficial!
