Sr PS Consultant



The Senior PS Consultant will work collaboratively within other business consultants and the Delivery Leader of the PLM, reporting directly to PLM Professional Service Team Manager. The Senior Business Consultant should rely on his strong experience (especially on fashion company)  to lead the workshop with customer and design the technical solution with the Delivery Leader. He will mentor other team members in the business reason of the design, contribute to development, responsible for the E2E test, assist customer during User Acceptance Tests (eventually doing on his own some small fix) and support any business question of our customer. He will have opportunities to be involved at all stages of a project – supporting sales in demo, covering requirements, together with Delivery Leader support the PM on the project plan.




  • Consistently demonstrate expertise about all PLM processes for fashion company.
  • Work with Pre-Sales team to assist in demo preparation and perform workshops to collect macro requirements and identify the scope of the project.
  • Understand the macro necessities from a customer prospect to give a estimation of the overall cost of the project (including any particular customization asked by prospect).
  • Prepare and\or revise the Statement Of Work for the functional parts to be signed by customer.
  • Understand project scope, timelines, objectives and direction of overall project portfolio.
  • Help the Delivery Leader and the Project Manager in the development of the project plan knowing what the of customer needs are.
  • Produce well-written functional and technical project documentation such as Solution Design.
  • Implement best practices for design in order to help the Delivery Leader to design the solution to cover the customer’s need.
  • Good SQL knowledge to contribute, when needed, to configure PLM or check info in the database.
  • Perform and\or drive E2E tests to identify system issues, give proper and detailed indication to fix them.
  • Perform independently small fixes in to let UAT go on.
  • Support and drive customer for any change request needed.

Skills and abilities

  • At least 5 years of experience in roles like PLM Senior Business Consultant or IT reference for PLM with business processes’ knowledge
  • Medium SQL knowledge
  • Medium Microsoft Reporting Service
  • Advanced English
  • Knowledge of Webservices\Json is a plus.
  • Experience on Aptean PLM (former Model Form, TXT PLM SharePoint, Aptos PLM Evolve) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be able to take initiative on projects and proactively offer suggestions and/or resolutions
  • Creative thinker, proactive, team player, and success-oriented, delivers on commitments
  • Deals well with ambiguous or undefined problems; ability to think abstractly and guide others
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills including understanding business needs, priorities and urgencies, collecting requirements, produce complex and detailed documentation, driving problem resolution.
  • Available to business trips (national and international) when required by customer
