2. GENERAL JOB SUMMARY 

 The Senior Engineer, Development will design, develop, and implement new ideas and products for software applications and solutions. The Lead Engineer, Development will be accountable for anticipating and resolving problems that impact design of current or developing products. The Lead Engineer, Development will perform the research, design, definition, and implementation of the product software applications.

High Impact on the development activities. Exenta PLM is a Customer Funded Product. Impact on Deployment of the application on AWS

5. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List the key duties and responsibilities and essential functions of the role)

  1. Writing secure, reusable, efficient code to high standards and enforcing the same on peers through code reviews and Unit Testing
  2. Working with the Product Manager, Architect and other leads within the team reviewing project\feature specifications
  3. Working with the Architect and other leads architecturally designing and delivering high quality, secure and high-performance features
  4. Participate in all phases of the life cycle from understanding requirements through development and finally to any post deployment maintenance
  5. Working within an Agile team implementing features and guiding juniors throughout.
  6. Taking ownership of sprints, features and implementations hitting tight deadlines when needed and reporting on the same to managers
  7. Review feature documentation and collaborating with the QA team ensuring features are thoroughly tested

Skills and Abilities

 

As a Senior Engineer, you will be working along with various other local & global developers in a co-working model

  • Expert level programming in Laravel, Javascript, HTML, CSS, MySQL, GitHub
  • Expertise to use Dockers on the Linux Environment
  • Proven experience designing and writing secure and high-performance applications.
  • Experience writing both technical and functional design specifications for product features.
  • Drive for innovation and learning
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across cultures and a proven track record mentoring juniors.
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and interest in furthering understanding of designs and best practices for cloud services
