About the Role
As the Regulatory and Business Reporting Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading regulatory and trustee reporting across the Superannuation business, with a primary focus on APRA reporting, data quality and robust reporting processes.
Sitting at the intersection of regulation, data and investment governance, this role plays a key part in ensuring regulatory obligations are met while supporting the Trustee’s increasingly sophisticated use of data for oversight, decision-making and commercial insight.
You’ll work closely with teams across Data Transformation, Middle Office and Investments, as well as external stakeholders, to uplift reporting capability, automate processes and strengthen data integrity across the Superannuation Fund.

Role Responsibilities
Regulatory Reporting
- Lead the end-to-end APRA reporting process, including requirements gathering, data mapping, validation, analysis and submission.
- Monitor regulatory changes and update reporting frameworks and processes accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate and complete regulatory reporting.
- Implement scalable reporting frameworks and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Enhance data processes to support both regulatory and commercial reporting outcomes.
Data Transformation & Automation
- Partner with Data Transformation and Middle Office teams to design and implement automated reporting solutions across APRA, investment and Superannuation reporting.
- Contribute to the development of data pipelines and dashboards supporting regulatory, business and trustee reporting.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve data integrity through automation.
Investment & Trustee Data
- Support the Trustee’s increasingly sophisticated use of data, including:
- Operationalising data frameworks for business intelligence and commercial value.
- Reviewing and recommending updates to Trustee policies and procedures related to data usage.
- Analysing investment governance data and preparing reporting for stakeholders.
- Documenting and leading stakeholder discussions on data frameworks and data use.
Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of the superannuation regulatory environment and key regulators (ASIC, APRA).
- Demonstrated experience with APRA regulatory reporting requirements and processes.
- Experience preparing, reviewing and analysing regulatory and investment data within the superannuation industry.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and translate it into clear reporting and insights.
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across the organisation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight regulatory deadlines.
- A strong interest in automating data and reporting processes using modern technology solutions.
- Advanced Excel and business intelligence/reporting tools proficiency.
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability, with the confidence to operate autonomously in a high-responsibility role.
- Comfortable contributing to change initiatives and working with external partners, including custodians and fund administrators.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or a related discipline.
