About the RoleWe’re seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of key project workstreams across our external service providers, including our administrators and custodian, and help shape the future of our Superannuation product.This is a nine-month contract; daily rates apply.
As a key member of the Super Program Delivery Team, you will play a central role in defining and executing the future state operating model, coordinating critical dependencies across administrators and custodians, and ensuring our operating environment delivers a seamless, high-quality‑ experience for members. This role requires strong project management leadership, a deep understanding of complex operational processes, and the ability to work across multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.

Role Responsibilities
- Lead external‑provider‑facing workstreams across administration, custody and outsourced vendors, defining scope, milestones and timelines.
- Jointly manage governance, interdependencies, risks, issues, escalations and executive reporting to the Super Program Manager.
- Oversee end‑to‑end delivery across external service providers, including schedule, scope, budget, resources and contingency planning.
- Build strong working relationships with the administrator, custodian and key vendors, ensuring alignment of priorities and delivery expectations.
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure the operating model, processes and controls integrate effectively with external provider arrangements.
- Drive delivery of future‑state operational capabilities across daily operations, member administration, custody workflows, data integration and investment option support.
- Support operational readiness testing, including joint test planning and execution with internal teams and external service providers.
- Facilitate clear communication of decisions, risks, issues and actions across cross‑stream governance forums.
- Track and report KPIs, delivery health and critical interdependencies, providing timely and actionable updates to executives.
- Lead delivery across the holistic member experience and future investment solution design, ensuring vendor processes support Day‑1 product and experience requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a senior project or program management role, in superannuation, wealth management, or the broader financial services industry.
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stream projects with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of superannuation operations, administrators, custodians, and the regulatory and APRA reporting environment.
- Highly developed delivery, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Commercially astute, numerically proficient, and experienced in interpreting operational data to inform decision-making.
- Demonstrated capability in establishing and maintaining robust project governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills; able to influence senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Ability to quickly understand complex concepts, operate in a fast-paced delivery environment, and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- Agile or similar delivery certification is highly desirable.
