Regulatory Reporting and Data Manager
Betashares Capital
About the Role
This is not a traditional regulatory reporting role.
Sitting at the intersection of regulation, data and investment governance, you will own end-to-end APRA reporting while helping modernise how regulatory and trustee reporting is produced across the Superannuation business.
We’re looking for someone who understands regulatory accountability deeply but is equally energised by improving, automating and optimising reporting frameworks. As the Trustee’s use of data becomes increasingly sophisticated, this role plays a key part in strengthening reporting integrity while enabling better oversight, smarter decision-making and commercial insight.
You’ll work closely with Data Transformation, Middle Office and Investments, as well as external partners, to uplift reporting capability, redesign manual processes and embed scalable, intelligent reporting solutions.
This is a role for someone genuinely fluent in data — comfortable interrogating it, challenging it and improving how it flows.

- Take a proactive, hands‑on approach to supporting the business by building simple, fit‑for‑purpose reports and dashboards that put clear, reliable data at everyone’s fingertips, reducing dependency on complex or manual reporting solutions.
- Partner with Data Transformation teams to design and implement more complex automated reporting pipelines and dashboards.
- Contribute to data architecture improvements supporting regulatory, investment and business reporting.
- Leverage AI, advanced analytics or intelligent validation techniques to improve reporting accuracy, anomaly detection and efficiency.
- Reduce reliance on manual processes by redesigning workflows and embedding automation where appropriate.
Investment & Trustee Data Governance
- Partner closely with the Director, Investment Governance to support the regulatory use of investment and governance data, enabling effective Trustee oversight and decision‑making.
- Analyse investment and governance data to support reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
