This is a senior individual contributor role focused on supporting the growth and adoption of managed account solutions across adviser and platform partners. You will work as a trusted technical and commercial partner, contributing to complex client engagements and supporting the implementation of tailored investment solutions.

You will collaborate closely with internal product, investment and distribution teams while building strong relationships with advisers and platform partners. The role offers significant exposure to managed account strategy, portfolio construction and platform capability within a growing business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to managed account engagements with advisers and platform partners, from solution design through to implementation
  • Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities, supporting growth across managed account solutions
  • Provide technical expertise across portfolio construction, managed account structures (SMA/MDA) and platform capabilities
  • Participate in client discussions, delivering tailored investment solutions aligned to adviser and client needs
  • Partner with distribution teams to progress opportunities and support conversion into implemented solutions
  • Collaborate with product, investment and marketing teams to align client needs with solution delivery
  • Identify opportunities to enhance managed account capabilities and support proposition development
  • Monitor market, competitor and regulatory developments to support client strategy and positioning
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting and activity tracking

Key skills and experience

Must-haves:

  • 5–8 years’ experience in managed accounts, investment solutions, platforms or adviser-facing financial services roles
  • Strong knowledge of portfolio construction and managed account structures (SMA/MDA)
  • Experience engaging with financial advisers or platform partners in a client-facing capacity
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness and ability to contribute to growth outcomes
  • Strong understanding of the Australian advice and regulatory environment
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and contribute to complex client engagements

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience within asset management or platform providers
  • Exposure to scaling investment propositions or go-to-market initiatives
  • Experience working cross-functionally across product, investment and distribution teams
