Betashares is one of Australia's leading ETF and investment management businesses, managing more than $90 billion in funds under management (FUM) across a broad range of ETFs, managed accounts and direct investment solutions. With ambitions to become a leading wealth manager and household name by 2030, Betashares is entering its next phase of growth - scaling its retail platform, deepening customer engagement and broadening its wealth proposition. Marketing is a critical driver of that growth.

The Event Marketing Manager delivers high-quality event and webinar experiences across intermediary and retail audiences. The role is responsible for the disciplined planning and execution of an events program that supports brand visibility, lead generation, relationship development and commercial priorities.

This is a specialist events role within the broader B2B marketing program. It contributes event expertise and operational leadership while working within strategy and priorities set by the Marketing Director B2B and the Marketing Direct Retail Direct.

Event Planning and End-End Delivery

  • Work with the Marketing Directors to set the events strategy for both B2B and Retail audiences and own the delivery and execution for all third-party conferences, client roadshows and roundtables and webinars across the business.
  • Build clear project plans, timelines, budgets, supplier requirements and approval pathways for each event.
  • Manage event logistics, production partners, venues, registrations and on-the-day execution to a consistently high standard. Ensuring brand, content, compliance and customer experience requirements are built into event delivery.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with broader stakeholders across the business, providing tight briefs, timelines and clarity on all actions required.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate for quality, efficiency and value.

Promotion and Audience Engagement

  • Work closely with B2B Marketing, Distribution, Content, PR and the In-House Agency to ensure events support broader program rather than operate in isolation.
  • Lead the coordination of event promotion across email, social, digital and relevant partner channels.
  • Work with Lifecycle and Marketing Operations leads on event invitations, reminders, registration flows and follow-up communications.
  • Support Distribution with audience targeting and attendee engagement plans.

Event ROI Frameworks and Performance Tracking

  • End-end accountability for all tracking and reporting – from attendance, engagement, lead quality, feedback, budget.
  • Responsible for determining event ROI frameworks and demonstrating commercial success measures from each initiative to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-event reviews and provide practical recommendations to improve future formats and investment.

AI and Modern Tooling

  • Use approved AI, automation and modern tooling as a standard part of the role where they improve speed, quality, insight or scalability, while retaining full human accountability for judgement, accuracy, compliance and outcomes.
  • Use AI and automation for planning, attendee communications, content repurposing, feedback synthesis and reporting where appropriate.
  • Share repeatable use cases and practical learnings so capability compounds across the wider Marketing team.
