Biocomposites, Inc., a US company based in Wilmington, NC is a subsidiary of Biocomposites, Ltd., an international medical devices company that engineers, manufactures and markets world leading calcium compounds, including STIMULAN, a truly absorbable calcium sulfate recrystallized for use in the presence of infection. The Marketing Events Specialist will organize and manage all aspects of in-person and virtual events, work with key stakeholders to guide projects from initiation to implementation, design and manage marketing collateral and sales tools (including digital tools), execute successful marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement and help implement marketing strategies for the expanding sales team

Responsibilites:

• Assume ownership for the preparation and execution of all inperson and virtual conferences, meeting and events for Biocomposites in the Americas
• Travel as needed (national and international) to oversee onsite execution of events (approximately 10%)
• Develop annual meeting budget for Biocomposites in the Americas
• Design and implement event advertising as needed
• Create event invitations and additional items as required in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign or Adobe Photoshop
• Review and negotiate contracts for restaurants, hotels, venues, conference centers, and various types of suppliers
• Coordinate with external vendors regarding ordering and creation of marketing items
• Utilize Salesforce.com/CRM to update event information and generate monthly reports as needed for distributor training metrics
• Work with internal stakeholders and external sales representatives to guide projects from initiation to implementation
• Execute successful marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement
• Help implement marketing strategies for the expanding sales team
• Create/update training materials and complete other marketing projects as identified
• Create sales presentations in PowerPoint and Illustrator
• Keep existing sales tools up to date; reflecting compliance and messaging changes
• Manage tradeshow kit inventory and shipments
• Use discretion and independent judgement to manage deadlines and meet quarterly objectives
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Event management experience
• Experience in executing successful marketing campaigns
• Graphic design experience preferred
• Experience with Salesforce.com/CRM, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams and OneNote, Web content management software, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
