Biocomposites, Inc., a US company based in Wilmington, NC is a subsidiary of Biocomposites, Ltd., an international medical devices company that engineers, manufactures and markets world leading calcium compounds, including STIMULAN, a truly absorbable calcium sulfate recrystallized for use in the presence of infection. Based in Keele, UK, it has global operations across USA, Canada, Europe, China and India.

We are distinct in that our team of specialists is singularly focused on the development of innovative calcium compounds and all research, manufacture and distribution takes place at our headquarters in Keele, England. In 2022, Her Majesty the Queen honored us with two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in Innovation and International Trade in recognition of the impact of STIMULAN in infection cases and our outstanding continuous growth in overseas sales of more than 200% over six years.

Biocomposites products are now used in over 120,000 procedures every year and sold in more than 40 countries around the world.

POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for managing tasks related to researching, analyzing, and developing objectives and strategic plans to achieve business opportunities, growth, and financial profitability. Produce the necessary analysis and reports to provide insight and guidance for sales strategy development and maximum sales efficiency. Collaborate with Finance, Data, IT and Marketing IT to ensure accurate reporting via PowerBI platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Anticipate the needs of the Sales force and create tools/reports to meet those needs while maintaining a streamlined approach to reporting
  • Develop reporting related to MBO completion progress
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate with limited direct supervision / guidance
  • Assists in defining quarterly sales objectives and driving the sales team to hit KPIs
  • Perform trend analysis and metrics evaluation / assessment
  • Provides recommendations and takes appropriate actions based on strategic objectives, forecasts and/or performance metrics
  • Enhances sales productivity by evaluating business metrics and distributor performance
  • Refines customer segmentation, assists with territory creation/management, and helps create a plan to enhance renewal/sales
  • Assists in determining and tracking Distributor Quotas and overall quota performance management
  • Work with Marketing to develop tools / reports to help determine Sales/Marketing strategies
  • Manage month end close of sales process with Customer Service and Accounting
  • Develop tools and reports to support the budget preparation process

EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business with 3+ years of experience or a Master of Business Administration and 2+ years of experience.
  • Experience in medical device industry preferred
  • Experience with business intelligence reporting systems, Excel, Power Point and PowerBI
  • Experience with ERP systems, Sales Force
  • Excellent Communicator, capable of interfacing with internal and external entities

DAILY HOURS:

START TIME: 8:30am END TIME: 5:30pm

Role based in Wilmington with hybrid working
