Biocomposites, Ltd. is an international medical devices company that engineers, manufactures and markets world leading products for use in infection management in bone and soft tissue. Based in Keele in Staffordshire, UK, it has global operations across Europe, USA, Canada, Argentina, China and India, and helps more than 1 million patients worldwide every year!
We are distinct in that our team of specialists is singularly focused on the development of innovative calcium compounds and all research, manufacture and distribution takes place at our headquarters in Keele, England. In 2022, Her Majesty the Queen honoured us with two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in Innovation and International Trade in recognition of the impact of STIMULAN in infection cases and our outstanding continuous growth in overseas sales of more than 200% over six years. Biocomposites products are now used in over 120,000 procedures every year and sold in more than 40 countries around the world.
The role will be responsible for supporting and assisting the company's accounting/ administrative and commercial activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Tender Office Customer Care:
- bid and tenders (preparation of all the documentation for public tenders,
- administrative, technical and economic documents, surety management)
- customer service
- agency contracts and commission management
- congress- administrative formalities
- invoicing and pending orders management, sales reports -> we must be “more pushy” for getting paid (emails, phone calls according to a given procedure)
Accounting:
- Management of accounts payable (passive cycle) and all accounting up to and including the financial statements and month-end reporting and expense reports
- Management of banks/debit/credit cards
- Management of agency contracts Enasarco and professional contributions
- Tax deadlines, VAT, tari, stamp duty and various contributions
- Management of iso 9001 quality system
- Privacy management system
- Management of relations with tax and legal advisors
- Credit collection (in coordination with Pamela)
- Company fleet management (car quotes, telepass devices/toll payment system, fuel cards)
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in economics
- Good English oral and written skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Accuracy, reliability and ability to work within a team
- Car driver
Location & Working pattern:
Location: Tuscany, Prato
Standard working hours: 9am to 6pm
