The Compliance Engine (TCE), Brycer's flagship software, provides a secure cloud environment in which third-party contractors that inspect, test, and maintain life safety systems (Fire Protection Systems, Backflows, Elevators, Boilers) submit their reports via BRYCER’s web portal directly to the Authority Having Jurisdiction, facilitating a more efficient review, tracking, and follow-up process with occupants to correct deficiencies and maintain systems. Ensuring safer buildings and clean drinking water. It provides organizations with the tools to navigate and thrive in a highly regulated environment.

The Position:

BRYCER ADVISORY GROUP is seeking several, motivated Compliance Response Analysts, who are passionate about Fire Prevention and Life Safety. This role will support our new Report Review Analysis Service through The Compliance Engine. This position will report to our Vice President of Operations, this individual will be part of a growing team of reviewers, who are responsible for reviewing deficiencies in reports that are submitted to The Compliance Engine. This is a detail-oriented role that will be focused on improving the support and services to jurisdictions, to reduce department report review times, ensure reports are submitted correctly by contractors, and accelerate deficiency corrections.

Ideal candidates will be certified fire marshals, inspectors, and/or NICET-certified technicians on sprinkler, fire alarm, and other systems currently tracked by our AHJ partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review inspection reports to verify deficiencies

  • Categorize severity of deficiencies

  • Communicatewith technicians to validate deficiencies

  • Log notes

  • Communicate with property owners and AHJs

  • Follow up on reports as required

  • Make recommendations for system and process improvements

  • Attend various meetings and conferences as a Brand Ambassador for Brycer

Experience:

  • Accomplished fire professional with more than 10 years of experience in public service, safety, fire prevention, and investigations.

  • Specialization in fire investigation and experience training and certifying fire investigators.

  • Associate Degree in Fire Sciences.

  • Certifications in fire investigation, fire prevention and inspections, building construction, plan review and inspections.

  • Fire Code Inspector - I.C.B.O., IFC, NFPA, expertise

  • Continuing education and professional training associated with Code Enforcement and Fire Investigations.

  • Previous experience using The Compliance Engine as a technician or AHJ.
