Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Regular Full-Time

Position Overview

The AR Coordinator provides administrative support to the Accounts Receivable team. This position handles tasks pertaining to cash application and various AR non-collection functions.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in handling numbers, and excellent client service abilities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Process all forms of payments (Checks, ACH, Wire, credit card) promptly, including coding and posting to A/R.
  • Perform daily e-deposits for recorded payments.
  • Generate daily cash receipt reports and distribute accordingly.
  • Generate reports and close out invoices efficiently.
  • Analyze A/R customer accounts and address any discrepancies
  • Alert management to potential collection issues at an early stage.
  • Prepare the Weekly A/R status report for review with the Supervisor.
  • Prepare monthly and weekly delinquent statements/notices.
  • Assist in month-end close activities related to A/R, including credit memos and cash applications.
  • Process ad hoc requests for cancelled checks.
  • Develop and maintain regular reports using the company's accounting system.
  • Generate adjustment reports and input accordingly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Prior experience in cash application and/or accounting
  • Familiarity with accounting applications (SAP, Oracle Financials)
  • Proficiency in Windows Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to learn new and proprietary computer applications as required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other departments, and vendors.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Quick learner with strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Experience in Advertising, Music, or Entertainment Union (SAG-AFTRA, AFM) is a plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role is preferred.
  • Some knowledge of payroll systems is preferred

Special Work Conditions

  • Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.

Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
The compensation range for this position is:
$24$27 USD
