Sr. Network Security Engineer​

Position Overview
The Sr. Network Security Engineer is responsible for the architecture, configuration, management, and support of global Cast & Crew network infrastructure. As part of the network engineering team, you’ll be responsible for designing and developing scalable, highly available & critical network architectures that meet business objectives, security requirements and SLAs.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Responsible for architecture, planning, implementing, and driving major initiatives related to networking, Cloud & Data center.

  • Responsible for operational support of Cast & Crew global corporate network infrastructure including Cloud networking (AWS/Azure/OCI), Office LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, etc.

  • Enhance performance & availability of corporate network and integration with cloud environments, such as AWS/Azure.

  • Work with security team to enhance/improve corporate network security, in compliance with security requirements.

  • Deploy, manage and perform routine maintenance of corporate network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, switches, Wi-Fi, Palo Alto firewalls, VPN etc.

  • Maintain optimum LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi network performance by evaluating network issues, including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency.

  • Analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently.

  • Work with ISPs to troubleshoot and identify performance issues, such as latency, packet loss, jitter, etc.

  • Perform daily network monitoring, as well as backup of network infrastructure for all company locations.

  • Implement, patch and update network devices on regular basis.

  • Create and keep up to date architectural diagrams & runbooks of network topology for all locations.

  • Support company users by resolving any escalated tickets related to infrastructure in a timely manner.

  • Work closely with various teams to determine future network needs and plan for network changes.

  • Support/troubleshoot network infrastructure issues and coordinate with vendors as needed for resolutions.

  • Provide additional IT infrastructure support and project assistance as required.

  • Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.

Job Qualifications/Requirements

  • 8+ years network infrastructure design, administration, & maintenance.

  • CCNP or equivalent experience with Cisco switches, routers, ZTNA/NAC, Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama.

  • Deep understanding and experience with cloud networking in AWS/Azure like VPC, Route 53, Security groups, Load balancing, Remote connectivity, Direct-Connect, ExpressRoute.

  • Has experience in VPC/VNET, Peering, Virtual WAN/Transit Gateways. OCI experience is a plus.

  • Expertise with Palo Alto Firewalls. Prisma Access and CloudGenix Experience is a plus.

  • Comprehensive understanding of network services and protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.

  • Deep understanding of network security systems and protocols such as IPSec, SD-WAN etc.

  • Experience designing and managing a network of least privilege. Experience with Network segmentation.

  • Design and scoping for Internal Cast and crew products or applications in AWS/Azure.

  • Network monitoring and capacity planning (SolarWinds, Status Cake, New Relic).

  • Design and delivery of redundancy in networks supporting business continuity solutions.

  • Integration of IT security, audit, and regulatory compliance requirements into network architecture.

  • Experience with Linux, Terraform, public/private DNS. Capable of making changes in production.

  • Enhancing performance, and availability of corporate network and integration with cloud environments.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to execute on plans within budget and time constraints.

  • Strong technical leadership and business collaboration skills.

  • Team player, resourceful, able to work under pressure and willing to provide afterhours support (as required).

  • Occasional travel required.

Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. The compensation range for this position is: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year.
