Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our Product Management team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data, business analysis, and product development, helping to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance product performance.

Essential Functions

  • Analyze product and business data to generate insights that support product strategy and decision-making.
  • Work with large datasets using SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support, to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Assist in requirements gathering, process documentation, and workflow analysis to support product development efforts.
  • Participate in the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring data integrity and alignment with business objectives.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand pain points, gather feedback, and improve data-driven product decisions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and analyzing structured data.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Understanding of business analysis methodologies and ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
  • Exposure to PDLC and SDLC processes, with an eagerness to learn about product and software development workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with Excel, Python, or other data analysis tools is a plus.

Special Work Conditions

  • Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.

Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. The compensation range for this position is: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year.
