THE ROLE

The Sr Product Strategy Manager is an important member of the product strategy team-- focused on aligned execution of the Product Strategy to support business objectives. The Senior Product Strategy Manager represents the product, market, and strategy internally and engages with market experts to identify trends and opportunities. Success requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, engineering, and product management to contribute to revenue growth, adoption rates, and customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

Product Strategy and Planning

  • Defines product initiatives that are responsive to market trends and aligned with business objectives.
  • Engages with market experts to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Gathers data - competitive intelligence, voice of customer and communicates market learnings across the organization to shape strategy and positioning.
  • Analyze business results to identify opportunities, risks and issues.

Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Execution

  • Drives aligned execution of product strategies to support business objectives.
  • Executes GTM strategies in collaboration with Product Marketing.
  • Represents PSCloud in Seasonal Product Release process clearly articulating value and positioning to multiple stakeholder groups (internal and external).
  • Owns key deliverables as part of the Seasonal Product Release process.

Evangelism & Thought Leadership

  • Acts as an advocate for the product with internal and external stakeholders
  • Shares product roadmap/future direction with select customers and prospects
  • Participates in Customer Advisory Board (CAB) - communication, face to face meetings and special CAB initiatives and interactions

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Ownership: Demonstrates accountability for strategy execution.
  • Resilience: Maintains focus and positivity when navigating challenges.
  • Communication & Storytelling: Communicates product strategy, represents the product, and acts as a primary advocate, presenting to various stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Influence & Collaboration: Influences Product Marketing, Product Engineering, and Management, as well as middle management and cross-functional peers to align with strategy, and collaborates with various teams.
  • Market Acumen: Engages with market experts to identify trends and opportunities and defines strategies aligned with market trends.
  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS Enterprise B2B applications; Experience is areas like product management, product strategy, or product marketing would be an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with market research and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to support customer interaction across US time zones and collaborate with product teams in UK
