THE ROLE

The Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) is a key contributor to the strategic people agenda for assigned client groups. Reporting to a Business Partner Leader, this role is responsible for executing human resources strategies that foster a high-performance culture, drive employee engagement, and support the overall growth objectives of the business unit. The Sr. HRBP acts as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing expert guidance on HR programs and policies, and collaboratively working with our HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) including HR Operations, Benefits, Compensation, and HRIS to deliver effective and integrated HR solutions.

This Senior HRBP role is fundamental to the successful execution of our people strategy. By providing expert HR support and guidance to our managers and employees, this role directly contributes to building a productive and engaged workforce. You will be a vital link in delivering impactful HR solutions that enable our business units to thrive and achieve their objectives in a fast-paced and innovative SaaS landscape.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

Strategic Execution & Advisory Support:

  • Partner closely with the Director/Sr. Director, HRBP to implement and execute the overarching HR strategy for assigned client groups.

  • Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters, aligning with established strategies and policies.

  • Contribute to the analysis of business challenges and opportunities, translating them into actionable HR initiatives under the guidance of the HRBP leadership.

  • Support the Director/Sr. Director in organizational design, workforce planning, and talent assessment initiatives, contributing data and insights.

Talent Management & Development Implementation:

  • Drive the execution of talent management initiatives within client groups, including performance management cycles, goal setting, and talent reviews, ensuring consistency and adherence to company frameworks.

  • Facilitate and support manager-led talent development discussions and activities.

  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development CoE (or HR Operations/Talent team) to support the delivery of relevant training programs and ensure adoption within client groups.

Employee Relations & Engagement Facilitation:

  • Manage and resolve a variety of employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances, applying company policies and employment law principles consistently.

  • Proactively identify and address employee engagement drivers and concerns, working with managers to implement solutions and improve team dynamics.

  • Facilitate effective communication channels to ensure employees are informed and engaged.

Change Management Support:

  • Support the implementation of change management initiatives (e.g., organizational restructures, system implementations) within client groups, as directed by your business partner leader.

  • Assist in communicating changes, managing employee questions, and ensuring smooth transitions.

Compensation & Benefits Application (in partnership with CoE):

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for managers and employees within client groups regarding compensation and benefits policies, programs, and inquiries.

  • Collaborate with the Compensation CoE on specific compensation actions (e.g., offers, promotions, annual reviews), ensuring adherence to guidelines and equity.

  • Partner with the Benefits CoE to assist employees with benefit-related queries or issues.

HR Operations & HRIS Liaison (in partnership with CoE):

  • Act as a key liaison between assigned client groups and the HR Operations CoE, ensuring efficient processing of HR transactions (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, data changes).

  • Utilize the HRIS system (in collaboration with the HRIS CoE) to access data, generate reports, and ensure data integrity for client groups.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations (e.g., UK labor law) in day-to-day operations.

Data Analysis & Reporting Contribution:

  • Collect and analyze HR data for client groups, identifying trends and providing insights to both the business leaders you support and the HR leadership team.

  • Contribute to the preparation of reports on key HR metrics to support strategic decision-making and quarterly business reviews.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years as an HR Business Partner or a similar role focused on partnering with business units, preferably within a fast-paced SaaS or technology environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex employee relations, performance management, and supporting talent initiatives.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in an HR model leveraging HR Centers of Excellence.

  • Solid understanding of HR best practices and employment law for your country geo.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and standard office software.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines.

  • High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

WHAT ELSE WOULD BE GREAT

  • Experience working globally across North America, EMEA and APAC is highly beneficial

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

  • HR Qualification: SHRM, CIPD qualification (Associate or Chartered) is highly desirable.
