THE ROLE

The Regional Vice President, North America Mid-Market, will be responsible for expanding Certinia’s presence by heading up the company’s North America MM sales activities for new logos. They will be called upon to deliver the quarter-to-quarter sales results necessary to achieve the company's revenue targets, while laying the foundation for long-term leadership in the cloud-based PSA and Customer Success market space. The VP of Sales will be responsible for creating and accelerating relationships with organizations and maintaining ongoing relationships through emphasis on strong attention to customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

  • Build an exemplary sales team, with a view to expanding headcount into our Mid-Market, new logo team
  • Participate in customer meetings and engage internal ecosystem resources as required
  • Expand upon existing partners and system integrators to establish a demonstrable ecosystem
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team to build revenue streams for the company
  • Coordinate with finance, product engineering, services and support to develop a presence in the marketplace
  • Maintain a customer-focused, fast-paced and team-oriented culture
  • Meet objectives relentlessly and resourcefully
  • Maintain an open-minded, enthusiastic and creative approach to every sales opportunity

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • 7+ years proven experience in building, developing and leading a productive and successful revenue-generating sales team, preferably focused on net-new business
  • A consistent track record of meeting and exceeding revenue and profit goals
  • Success in selling applications on a national, regional and local basis
  • Well-versed in building, enabling and executing a sustainable sales strategy
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise resource planning and risk compliance technologies
  • Superior presentation and negotiation skills
  • Customer-focused, as measured by a demonstrated track record of satisfying customers

WHAT ELSE WOULD BE GREAT

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
  • Strong network within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Experience in the SaaS/Cloud space is a big plus
