Implementation Specialists are responsible for executing solution and application implementations for existing and new customers. They focus on and are typically assigned to implementations of one or more smaller solution(s) from lower complexity software and/or smaller customers. Their projects include new conversions and mergers that are positioned with relatively low intensity.

Specific activities performed may include development of support plans and strategies, communication, coordination and collaboration with different teams internally and with bank senior management to provide training and support for newly converted customers.


  • Must organize different project resources to develop effective training and support strategies with each customer, exhibiting focus and attention to detail while keeping perspective of the larger goals and objectives.
  • Maintains clear and timely communication with various stakeholders throughout the project cycle including bank senior or executive management; must be consultative, provide guidance, and demonstrate effective strategies to keep any audience informed through any means of communication.
  • Must build trust and rapport with customers and deliver high quality support to successfully onboard new customers.


  • Team and customers are well prepared for a successful conversion.
  • Timely communication and regular updates are provided to key personnel and bank management teams throughout the project.
  • Successful handoff of the customer to relationship management and customer support teams.


Education & Certifications:

Experience or equivalent to a 4-year college degree


Banking operations knowledge and/or experience required.

The minimum amount of relevant work experience required to successfully perform the job is at least two (2) years.

Team and/or project management experience preferred.

Travel: Some travel required (30-50%).

Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds. This position requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and the basic need to look at a computer screen 8 hours a day.
