JOB SUMMARY

The Product Manager II will define the card fraud product strategy in supporting new product development and ensuring growth of existing products. The Product Manager will develop and lead new product initiatives by driving tactical direction of the card fraud solution set.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates independently; leads the work of a Product development team and is responsible for a product portfolio or customer journey.
  • Responsible for leading a strategic product portfolio in an active stage of growth and investment.
  • Represents CSI and the associated product portfolio in thought leadership to the market.
  • Conducts market research which includes but is not limited to reviewing vendor products, reading industry blogs, participating in industry events, reviewing industry analyst reports, and incorporating insight into the product roadmap.
  • Works closely with other product managers and product owners to set business value priority of features to be developed within the CSI product family.
  • Assists Product Marketing to create tools for on-going sales channel enablement for prospects and customers.
  • Participates in demos for strategic cross sale opportunities.
  • Trains Support to enable reps to ensure proper escalation procedures.
  • Collaborates with other stakeholders such as Product Marketing on the creation of Positions for assigned products and aligns the organization around how buyers think and talk about their problems.
  • Manages the product lifecycle and roadmap continually.
  • Develops and maintains a business proposal and plan to explain the rationale for continued investment into a product portfolio, including on-going financial metrics and penetration analysis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

PRIMARY RESULTS ACCOUNTABLE FOR ACHIEVING

  • Acts as the “Messenger of the Market” from the outside-in to the rest of the organization.
  • Acts as product champion internally with influencing key stakeholders for product success while understanding corporate strategic objectives.
  • Develops a deep understanding of market problems that are urgent, pervasive and that the market needs solved via current and potential customers.
  • Aligns products to corporate strategy to leverage distinctive competencies.
  • Delivers new products and services to address customer problems and needs.
  • Drives Buy-Build-Partner analysis, and where necessary, reviews potential partner relationships for the product and making recommendations for direction.
  • Maintains partner or vendor operational contacts for associated product portfolio.
  • Maximizes profitability of new and existing product lines.
  • This position is accountable for developing new products and enhancements that address customer problems and pain points.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

  • Education or job knowledge is equivalent to college or university undergraduate education.
  • Pragmatic Certified Level II (minimum) preferred.
  • 5+ years product management experience ideally in Fintech or financial institution space.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise fraud, specifically experience with payments fraud, check, wire and ACH fraud. Knowledge of account takeover fraud preferred.

  • Location: Remote, however, applicants that live one (1) hour drive from a CSI office, are required to be hybrid (3 days in office).
  • Travel: Minimal travel required (up to 20%).
  • Physical Demands: The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel. This position requires occasional lifting up to 10 pounds. This position requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less). Note: the basic need to look at a computer screen 8 hours a day.
