Job Summary:
CSI is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Director, Revenue Accounting to lead our revenue operations in a fast-paced, private equity-backed fintech environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of CSI’s revenue processes across a complex portfolio of financial technology products and services. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical accounting expertise, operational mindset, and strong business partnership skills to support scalable growth and investor-grade reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead CSI’s revenue operations across a portfolio of fintech and SaaS solutions, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Own technical revenue analyses, including preparation of supporting documentation for complex contracts and multi-element arrangements
Oversee the monthly close process for revenue, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
Partner closely with Sales, Legal, FP&A, and auditors to support contract structuring, forecasting, and financial reporting
Provide audit support and ensure internal documentation and reporting are prepared in accordance with investor and audit requirements
Identify and drive process improvements to support operational efficiency, automation, and scalability
Contribute to system enhancements and support ERP/revenue system integrations or upgrades
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA strongly preferred
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a revenue-focused or technical accounting role
Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience applying it to complex revenue arrangements
Experience in a private equity-backed, high-growth company environment
Strong systems orientation; ERP/revenue tools preferred
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, business-partner approach
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and adapt in a dynamic, evolving organization
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Comfortable balancing execution with strategic thinking in a PE-backed setting
