Job Description:

As a key member of the Payments leadership team, this role partners with senior management and helps drive the execution of the product strategy and other key initiatives, leads a direct team and supports cross-functional partners, ensures OKR are met/exceeded, and the department is managed to perform within approved budgets. The manager is a tactical leader for day-to-day interaction and decision making for the team and/or function. Provides estimates supporting needs, schedules, and assigns work to meet service targets. The Manager – Product Management position is responsible for leading a team of Product Managers responsible for CSI solutions and services. In addition, this position is responsible for defining product strategy and direction by understanding current market problems and determining innovative solutions based on market research and analysis.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Drives the execution of the Payments product strategy.

  • Manages product initiatives to continue enhancing the assigned product portfolio.

  • Drives strategies with Product Managers and Product Owners.

  • Contributes to both short- and long-term direction for assigned products.

  • Ensures that documentation and artifacts, (i.e., roadmaps, positioning, etc.) that Product Managers are responsible for stay up to date and are complete.

  • Oversees AGILE SCRUM and SDLC processes, and ensures they are being implemented end to end consistently with corporate process.

  • Employee oversight and development by working with the employees to provide direction, assist them with working through issues and concerns, helping them to grow within our department and preferred career path and providing positive leadership examples, encouragement and support.

  • Provides consultative sessions to customers as a recognized Subject Matter Expert regarding assigned product portfolio and direction.

  • Collaborates with other stakeholders such as Product Marketing, Customer Support, and Engineering

  • Conducts market research and stays abreast of industry trends for assigned product portfolio and/or Software Development to influence SDLC and operational changes.

  • Represents CSI as an industry expert and market/technical thought leader in publications, at industry events, and/or in customer & prospect engagements


Supervisory & Management Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a team of employees within the department

  • Hires, trains, evaluates performance of team

  • Communicates policy and strategy to department employees

  • Schedules employee tasks, following budgets

  • Continual improvement and problem solving

  • Upholds all policies and procedures, company culture and values

Budget Responsibilities

  • Manages to budget set by senior management

Minimum of 10+ years' experience and a 4-year college degree or equivalent.
