Job Description:

In this role, you have the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring CSI’s compliance with complex federal, state, and local tax regulations—driving impact through accurate reporting, strategic tax planning, and mentorship of members of the Finance and tax team.

You are responsible for: (not limited to)

  • Preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local income tax returns and related workpapers.
  • Leading compliance efforts for corporate income tax, sales and use tax, property tax, net profit tax, and other filings.
  • Researching and monitoring tax law changes and reporting developments across jurisdictions.
  • Communicating effectively with internal departments and external government agencies.
  • Identifying and incorporating tax credits and exemptions into filings.
  • Reviewing and approving work completed by less experienced Tax Analysts.
  • Supporting special projects assigned by senior leadership.
  • Reconciling tax-related accounts and accruals.
  • Analyzing and compiling data from multiple sources to support tax filings and audits.

You are a part of a collaborative and agile tax team that values empowerment, continuous learning, and cross-functional engagement. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals who foster a culture of support, innovation, and shared success.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant tax experience, experience with corporate tax highly desired.
  • Desire to learn and take on new tasks.
  • Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Reliable team-player, who can work independently, with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • CPA certification is a plus but not required.
