In This Role, You Will

Help community banks and credit unions maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing network environments by providing advanced networking support and delivering exceptional customer service. Your expertise will directly contribute to our clients' ability to serve their customers while ensuring network stability, security, and operational excellence.

You Are Responsible For

  • Troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity issues for financial institution clients through phone, email, and ticketing systems.

  • Providing support for Cisco networking infrastructure including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and security appliances.

  • Administering and supporting Palo Alto firewalls, including policy management, troubleshooting, and security configuration.

  • Performing advanced routing, switching, and network security troubleshooting.

  • Supporting Remote Access VPN (RA VPN) environments and related security services.

  • Configuring and deploying new network locations, routers, firewalls, and related infrastructure.

  • Working directly with telecommunications providers to troubleshoot circuit issues and coordinate service changes.

  • Managing IP whitelisting and other network security-related requests.

  • Supporting Meraki environments and SD-WAN technologies.

  • Documenting troubleshooting activities, customer communications, and resolutions within internal ticketing systems.

  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution and continuous service improvements.

  • Delivering a high level of customer service while serving as a trusted technical resource for financial institution clients.

Our Managed Networking team is a close-knit group of highly skilled engineers dedicated to supporting community banks and credit unions nationwide. The team operates in a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and customer success are top priorities. This role is critical to maintain service delivery and operational continuity within our networking services organization.

To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have the Following Skills and Experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 3–5+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments.

  • Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, and security platforms.

  • Hands-on experience supporting Palo Alto firewalls.

  • Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, and network security principles.

  • Experience troubleshooting complex network issues in customer-facing environments.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure networking experience.

  • Experience supporting Meraki and SD-WAN environments.

  • Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).

  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.

  • Experience working within financial services, banking, or highly regulated environments.
