The Project Management Office defines and maintains project management standards across an organization. PMOs are responsible for maintaining best practices and documenting project status and strategy in one place. The PMO centralizes information and delivers it to the right stakeholders. It is to ensure that management makes informed and timely decisions for the success of the project/s.

The project specialist/manager is responsible for delivering the project. They lead, with authority and responsibility, to run the project on a day-to-day basis.
