About The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an Automation Test Analyst to join our Digital Business team within Craigs Investment Partners (CIP). Reporting to the Test & Release Manager, the key focus of this role is to provide testing services for all incoming requests including projects, BAU, and enhancements. This is a 9-month fixed term to cover a period of parental leave, working full-time Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm and on occasions will also be required to support production deployments outside of these hours.

The Automation Test Analyst is responsible for the preparation, planning, coordination, and execution of test activities, including the development of a test strategy and providing test summary reports. They will work with other team within Craigs to ensure sufficient planning and communication is delivered throughout the areas of the business that require testing.

Due to the nature of the role, suitable candidates must be familiar with system integration methods and standards, be able to perform testing, have a good undertaking of standard coding practices and be able to analyse test results and provide reporting. The role will also require manual testing on occasions for completeness.

Skills And Experience

We are looking for candidates with relevant IT qualifications or equivalent work experience and the following:

  • Test Certification
  • Minimum 3+ years of Test Analyst experience
  • Minimum 2+ years Test Automation experience
  • Experience in functional and non-functional testing across different levels: component, integration, system and acceptance
  • Experience across all activities in the testing process including test planning, analysis and design, implementation and execution, test reporting, exit criteria and reporting
  • Financial services experience (desirable)
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Work collaboratively with multiple teams internally and externally
  • Commitment to drive quality improvement
