About the Role:
We are looking for a Product Manager to work with our payments platform team to assist with the development and ongoing features of the company's payments platform. This role will report to our Head of Payments, and work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and prioritize Payments needs, develop and help execute the product roadmap, and ensure that our platform meets all necessary requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Work with the Head of Payments to develop and execute the product roadmap for the company's payments platform, in alignment with the company goals and priorities
- Support the product by coordinating with the proper support channels and prioritizing bugs and client requests
- Work with development to help design the product
- Write user stories with acceptance criteria
- Participate in developer meetings by answering questions and providing context to business requirements
- Test and confirm expected value is being delivered
- Be a participating member of the team during a sprint to review user stories and provide approval or feedback
- Work and align with software line of business discovery and user testing to identify and prioritize customer needs
- Translate integrated software needs into product requirements and work with engineering and design teams to develop and launch new features and products
- Work with commercialization efforts to help design training for integration and product usability
- Support commercialization efforts around packaging, messaging, and positioning for the payments product and features
Requirements:
- Experience working in a software company with a Payments integration model
- Understanding of the payments industry and related products
- Proven ability to work in an integrated payments model and collaborate with product and development team members
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with Jira and Agile software development
- Previously working in a managed payment facilitation software company
