About the Role

The Software Quality Assurance Analyst (SQAA) plays an important role in ensuring the development of high-quality software products. The SQAA team is responsible for implementing and managing the testing process for all RFMS-developed products. Working closely with the development team, the SQAA ensures product stability and quality throughout the entire product lifecycle. This includes testing software for accuracy and functionality at each stage of development to maintain consistent quality from inception to release.

Availability during 12.30 pm IST to 9.30 pm IST is a requirement for this role.

Main Responsibilities:

As a SQAA, you are required to perform the following essential functions, but these responsibilities are not limited to:

  • Develop, publish, and implement test plans. Write and maintain test plans.
  • Follow quality assurance standards.
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of tasks. Work under general supervision.
  • Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual modules/programs.
  • Identify any potential quality/defect issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
  • Ensure that all modules/programs meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
  • Handle special projects assigned by the RFMS/Cyncly management team and communicate findings and or resolutions to the department manager in a timely manner.
  • Investigate customer complaints logged by our help desk department.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Software QA Analyst, with a proven ability to develop and execute test cases.
  • Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing across different platforms.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools, such as Postman, is preferred.
  • Understanding of SQL and some experience in performing API method calls, is preferred.
  • Experience in data collection, management, and analysis to identify patterns and potential quality issues.
  • Proficient in writing and maintaining test plans and other QA documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues with attention to detail and work independently under general supervision.
