About the Role
We are a high growth, $500M SaaS company transforming how businesses operate and scale. With a global customer base and a strong product portfolio, we are now seeking a dynamic Head of Global Renewals to drive retention, growth, and operational excellence across our recurring revenue base.
As the Head of Global Renewals, you will lead the team responsible for managing and optimizing our customer renewals motion. This role will have global responsibility for driving retention strategy, improving customer lifetime value, reducing churn, identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring a seamless renewal experience across all business units, customer segments and geographies. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Product to align renewal efforts with company goals and customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the global renewals strategy and execution for all recurring revenue (ARR >$400M).
- Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing global renewals team across multiple regions and time zones.
- Develop and implement standardized processes, playbooks, and KPIs to ensure renewal consistency and predictability.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities during renewal cycles.
- Forecast renewal revenue accurately and proactively manage risk and churn indicators.
- Partner with Finance and RevOps to optimize contract structures, terms, and pricing strategies.
- Implement automation and tooling improvements in the renewal workflow to increase operational efficiency.
- Build executive-level dashboards and reports to track performance and provide insights to leadership.

- Champion a customer-first mindset and help evolve the voice of the customer across the renewal journey.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in SaaS or subscription-based business models with a focus on customer retention, renewals, or account management.
- 5+ years in a senior leadership role with global responsibilities.
- Proven track record of reducing churn and increasing net revenue retention (NRR) in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills; experience working with CRM and renewal management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Totango, NetSuite, Gong).
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, GRR, NRR, CAC, etc.) and customer lifecycle management.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with Sales, CS, Finance, and Legal.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and change management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent a plus.
