About the role

The Training Specialist is primarily responsible for compiling and delivering training to new and existing customers, contributing to our high standards of customer service and reducing reliance on our product support teams. Initially this role is for Design Flex and will expand to other Cyncly products as needs arise.

This includes taking customers through how to use our software at the start to upskilling them further to better utilize and successfully adopt our products. The Customer Training Specialist is also responsible for promoting our training packages to help generate additional revenue for the company.

As a product trainer you will become a product expert and create and deliver training across our vast product range. The Product Trainer is a customer facing role so must always be professional and reflect and exemplify our values.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver online training via virtual classrooms or webinars for the software products available in your country/region for new and existing customers, and for Cyncly employees, as and when required.
  • Deliver ad hoc physical classroom-based training, as and when required.
  • Organize and coordinate the online training sessions such as setting up the webinar, preparing the online classroom, inviting participants, etc
  • Prepare facilities and materials for classroom-based trainings, as and when required
  • Evaluate the knowledge of customers participating in training to determine training needs and effectiveness
  • Support content team in creating eLearning curriculum on various topics utilizing instructional design tools.
  • Proactively promote and sell additional training and/or our training packages to customers to help generate additional revenue
  • Report to and work closely with the Training Manager to help coordinate training activities
  • Contribute to and achieve the goals and objectives set by the Customer Success and Enablement Team
  • Share knowledge and information within the Training team to support each other
  • Help with ad hoc support to customers, as and when required
  • Attend Industry events representing Cyncly, presenting our products and supporting our existing customers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, particularly verbal
  • Clear pronunciation and good intonation
  • Good listening skills (active listening)
  • Customer service orientated; patient and resilient
  • Flexible and able to adapt to different channels
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to use initiative and work autonomously
  • Team player and collaborative approach to working
  • Able to understand, speak and write English, French, German
  • Comfortable presenting and talking to a group of people (8-10 in physical classrooms and even more in virtual classrooms)
  • Experience with Cyncly products is preferred
  • Experience in teaching or training
  • Basic skills in MS-Office tools
  • Interest in technology, software and applications is essential
  • Experience in training business users is preferable but not essential
  • Experience in working with online channels and virtual learning platforms or experience in working in a multi-channel environment are a plus point
  • Experience working within the Kitchen and Bath Design Industry
  • Adequate knowledge of instructional design is preferred
